The Center for the Defense of Liberties and Civil Rights “Hurryyat” conducted a work shop in the Bethlehem governorate named “The Banned from Travel” as part of its campaign against the policy of the travel ban. Attendance ranged between representatives of government and civil organizations, and union, municipal, and political forces representatives.
The Center’s Executive Director, Helmi Araj, commenced the meeting exhibiting the project’s mission, vision and goals while the rest of the participants offered suggestions and recommendations that will ensure the success of the campaign on a national, legal, and human level.
The meeting concluded in forming a committee for the organization of appropriate events for the governorate to ensure its success.
